Tis the Season!

Tis the season for Christmas card ordering! I'm now taking orders for Christmas cards. I'll be posting some samples that will be available soon, so check back.

Adalyn Paige has arrived!

Congratulations Darla! Adalyn is beautiful! Adalyn Paige arrived August 26th. She weighed 7.5 lbs and was 17 inches long. I can't wait to meet her and design her birth announcements. Send me some pics and I'll get started! Look for that post coming soon...

Roses are red, violets are blue, Lilly is turning two!

I recently designed a birthday invitation for a very cute two year old, Lilly! Her mother loved the thank you cards that I did for my friend Darla and wanted her daughter's invites to look similar. Mission accomplished!

It was a pleasure working with you. Happy Birthday Lilly! Call me when you turn three!

Love is in the air!

My friend Shannon is getting married to a classmate of mine in October. When I found out they were getting married I offered my services as a gift to them. Their colors are ivory and brown, gorgeous! When I asked her what she wanted, all she said was something with twigs.
Both of them loved the end result.
Here is what I came up with. I'm currently working on their programs.

Going the chapel and we're gonna get married....

Recently I had the pleasure of designing wedding favors. When I was getting married I never thought of using the color black. After doing the following creations, I kinda wish I had! If you're planning on taking that leap, let me know how I can help.

The bride asked for a damask look to everything and that it be consistent. I created menus, place cards, tags for the gifts for their guest, thank you cards and as a thank to them for using me, I created matching cards with the newlyweds name on them.

Instead of boring table numbers that you see in frames, we opted for candles and lanterns. I hand-cut the numbers out of the paper. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to keep them on the candle, when it hit me...tack em! I used upholstery tacks which, I think, look like a buttoned up suit or vest. I was pleased with the end result, as was the bride!
All of the even numbered tables were candles, while the odd numbers were lanterns.

And the winner is...

Who doesn't love to brag about their kid!? Cohen and I recently visited Denise and her family. While there her oldest child, Payton, really stepped in to help me with Cohen. I also noticed how she routinely helps her mother out by taking care of her younger sibling. As a thank you to Payton, I created the above letter and award. Apparently I did such a good job at it that Denise believed it was real.

If you have a child that deserves to be rewarded, I can help. I can personalize the letter to fit the child and the good deeds that they do for you. The design on the letter and award can also be personalized to fit the child, i.e. the kids that are pictured, the colors used and the graphics.

Thank you Payton for all you do. You're an amazing Big Sister!

Tu-Two Cute!

Ms. Allie is turning two this year and looks absolutely adorable in her little tu-tu. What better than a ballerina theme to celebrate! Happy Birthday Allie! You're growing up so fast.

Birth announcements are not the only thing I design, I can also design birthday cards, and invitations in whatever your theme may be. If you are interested in this design, tulle can be added to the ballerina's tu-tu for a personalized touch, or added embellishments are also available.
